An early 18th century George I Irish walnut upholstered sofa.
The elegant wing back arms above a drop in seat and raised on four front cabriole legs with carved shell to the knee and scalloped pad feet, all joined by a flat shaped stretcher . The overall design is typical of Irish seat furniture from this period.
